Trevor Brown, Managing Partner
Trevor brings over 20 years leadership in the development and commercialization of innovative technologies in the life sciences and diagnostics sectors.
A senior executive with expertise spanning the continuum of product strategy and commercial execution. He has managed $100M global franchise turnarounds in a Fortune 500 company; led the development and commercialization of multiple FDA 510k diagnostic devices; and founded a genomics startup that led to a $225M exit of a PE-backed company amongst his successes. He specializes in taking organizations through early-stage development, establishing product-market-fit through to launch and commercialization. He has led successful commercial scale-up transitions including several as VP/GM roles at SeraCare Life Sciences and LUMICKS BV and as a Chief Commercial Officer at a point-of-care diagnostics company. He is also an active investor in several early-stage startups.

Bryan McLaughlin, Senior Consultant
Bryan brings over 10 years of experience in unlocking growth and alignment for organizations in life sciences & advanced technology sectors.
He specializes in corporate strategy, growth & restructuring in private-equity (incl. venture) backed organizations and has a proven track record leading mission critical projects, developing and launching new products, opening global markets, structuring strategic partnerships, and raising capital. He combines human-centered and systems approaches with data-based decisions to understand organizations and create durable value.
A keen focus of Bryan's career has been on commercializing novel scientific discoveries. He has worked on the development of early commercial applications of AI and quantum computing at IBM and Creative Destruction Labs; and Precision Medicine at Spartan Bioscience. He has also had the privilege of playing multiple roles in Canada's innovation ecosystem: early stage organization, corporate partner, and program advisor.

Ram brings 20 years of commercial expertise translating technology into enduring products in the life science research and clinical segments
Over the course of a highly cross-functional career covering product management, marketing, and sales, Ram has provided market-driven leadership to successfully develop, launch, and grow a broad range of cutting-edge instrument and reagent products. He has successfully led and managed product portfolios ranging from pre-revenue to $200M+ in annual revenue.
His experience includes commercialization of next-generation sequencing products for Thermo Fisher, growing a new clinical genomics business unit at reference standards company LGC SeraCare and sales management at a droplet-based tools provider. Most recently he built and led the sales and marketing team at Fluent BioSciences, where he successfully guided the team from pre-revenue market development through commercial launch and rapid growth of an innovative single-cell analysis technology.
